Gary Miskin
Gary Miskin is a recognized pioneer in Canada’s online brokerage industry and a co-founder of Questrade Inc., where he helped establish one of the country’s most trusted digital investment platforms. His work has shaped the evolution of electronic trading in Canada, with a focus on accessibility, product innovation, and market integrity.
As President of FirmPay, Gary supports the firm’s leadership and long-term strategy. He is also principal of Baronet Capital, the family office that provides strategic support and institutional backing to FirmPay.

Stuart Devenish
Stuart co-founded one of the first Canadian brokerages to offer innovative derivative products to the Canadian market, empowering investors with tools that had previously been out of reach and paving the way for broader retail access in the years that followed. He has led trading, operations, and product strategy teams across Europe, Asia, and North America.
At FirmPay, Stuart sets the firm’s strategic direction and product vision. His passion for frictionless client experiences is reflected in a highly intuitive payments platform, built on bank-grade, ultra-secure infrastructure and paired with Single-Point Account Management.

Gabriel Arrobas
Gabriel Arrobas is a senior commercial leader with a track record of building multi-decade relationships across the U.S. and Canada. He has held senior roles at CORPAY (formerly Cambridge Mercantile), later leading the Canadian division at AFEX in Los Angeles and, more recently, at Questrade, where he built a dynamic book of business and developed high-performing sales teams serving corporate and institutional clients.
At FirmPay, Gabriel is building a global network of institutional partnerships while developing the next generation of dealers, account managers, and traders — all aligned with FirmPay’s client-first ethos.
He brings deep market knowledge and a long-standing network across the FX, banking, and fintech sectors, combining credibility with consistent execution.

Naftali Sturm
Naftali Sturm brings deep experience in capital planning and financial oversight, previously serving as VP of Real Estate Finance at RioCan REIT and VP Finance at SmartCentres. He has led complex financial operations and due diligence for multibillion-dollar portfolios. He holds a Bachelor of Administrative Studies in Finance and an MBA in Finance and Real Estate from the Schulich School of Business at York University.
Naftali provides financial oversight for FirmPay and the broader Baronet Capital group of companies.
Operations Manager
Aria Xue
Aria brings deep experience in operations and client relations to the FirmPay team. As Operations Manager, her singular focus is the client experience. She ensures every payment is executed with the speed and Tier 1 service levels that are a hallmark of the FirmPay brand.
Aria is a primary contact point bridging the gap between client requirements and FirmPay’s platforms, global payment rails, and network of partners to ensure your funds move without hurdle or delay. Aria manages the complexities of the cross-border workflow lifecycle so clients don’t have to. By providing the dedicated, white-glove oversight that defines our firm, she ensures that every transaction is handled with the absolute precision and urgency that a high-performance business requires.
Principal, Client Implementation & Regulatory Liaison
Tina Li
Tina Li is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) and brings a rigorous, science-backed foundation to the FirmPay team. Holding a Master of Business Analytics from the University of British Columbia (UBC), she began her career in data science as an analyst in streamlining complex databases and capturing and interpreting advanced analytics. Tina transitioned this expertise into the financial services sector: gaining experience in derivatives operations at Questrade Inc. before specializing in regulatory compliance. In January 2024, Tina joined the Baronet Capital family office to support the legal and governance team in the development of FirmPay’s compliance framework and was instrumental in its integration with our internal and client-facing platforms.
At FirmPay, Tina serves as the principal regulatory liaison and manages the execution of our compliance and AML/CTF programs. Despite the complexity and detail in her work, she ensures the client experience is efficient, fast, and painless.

Jonathan Shields
Jonathan Shields has led trading, risk, and advisory operations at ScotiaMcLeod and RBC Dominion Securities, where he launched Canada’s first 24-hour retail futures desk and chaired the Futures Advisory Board. He has advised institutional clients on hedging, structured products, and navigating volatile currency markets.
At FirmPay, Jonathan provides risk management oversight, ensuring disciplined exposure for the clients and the company.
